Originally established as a web production and overseas marketing company, our passion for cashmere inspired us to venture into the creation of luxurious cashmere knitwear. Our mission is to introduce high-quality pieces that everyone can enjoy.

PlejBela means "very beautiful" in Esperanto. We chose this name to reflect our desire to share beauty and quality, transcending boundaries of country and language.

Message from the Creator

My love for cashmere has been a journey of many years. Around a decade ago, I discovered Toyoboshi's cashmere, and its incredible softness and smooth texture left a lasting impression on me. There's something about its touch that brings a sense of calm.

While there are many soft cashmeres available, I found that most tend to fluff and wear out quickly after washing. However, Toyoboshi's cashmere stands apart—it maintains its quality, no matter how often it's washed at home. Though the surface may become slightly bristly over time, the softness only increases, making it feel like you are "nurturing" the cashmere. It’s also conveniently washable by hand or machine (check out our washing tips). Scarves and stoles made from this cashmere experience less friction, and the scarf I bought 10 years ago, which I use daily, still looks remarkably beautiful.

Cashmere knitwear from international luxury brands is undeniably exquisite, but the added costs of global retail and marketing can make them prohibitively expensive. Toyoboshi’s cashmere offers the same premium quality at a price that’s accessible to more people. Driven by the desire to share this exceptional material, I began crafting knitwear from Toyoboshi yarn. Every piece is meticulously created in collaboration with skilled Japanese knitters, ensuring a level of care and craftsmanship that speaks for itself.
