High-quality raw wool is carefully spun over time, and the company's unique low-temperature processing technology minimizes damage to the fibers, maximizing the natural softness and smoothness of cashmere.
PIARA has a high degree of yarn uniformity and minimal surface irregularities, resulting in a very beautiful finish for the knitted "stitches." Additionally, it is less prone to distortion from wear and washing, and over time, it develops a unique texture, making it a high-quality cashmere yarn that can be cherished for a long time.

■Notes when using industrial yarn

• Specifications differ from craft yarn balls
• Oils and odors may remain
• The yarn may feel stiff
• Due to the thin yarn, it may break if pulled too hard
• Fulling (washing finish) is necessary after knitting

Industrial yarns are finished with oil or wax applied during the spinning process. Therefore, they may feel somewhat stiff before knitting or retain a unique smell. This is a manufacturing characteristic and does not indicate a quality issue.

To bring out the original texture, a washing process called "felting" is necessary after knitting. Wash with lukewarm water and neutral detergent to remove any oils or waxes, and add moderate friction to allow the yarn to expand, revealing softness, elasticity, and strength. Industrial threads are designed with the assumption that a final wash will be performed.

Also, industrial threads often have very fine specifications, and if knitted as is, they will result in a thin lace-like fabric. It is also characterized by the ability to adjust thickness by using multiple strands or designing according to the intended use.

The knitted fabric will shrink due to felting, and its texture will change significantly. Since the finish may vary depending on the strength of the twist and the material, it is recommended to knit a bit loosely. To accurately understand the finished dimensions and texture, it is advisable to create a swatch (test knit) in advance and check the gauge after washing.
